The children need to ensure that they bring their reading books and personal reading record sheets to school every day. If you have internet access at home, please ensure that your child uses our online reading programme, Zip Tales, as well as our online numeracy programme, Sumdog, at home as often as possible. We also encourage parents to write comments on their children's personal reading record sheets when their child has either read their reading book or other reading material, e.g. magazines, newspapers, library reading books, etc.
The children participate in Guided Reading Sessions throughout the week and we encourage the children to read at home to an adult on a regular basis.
Please would you ensure that your child has their full gym kit throughout the week as PE can be held on different days (plain blue t-shirt, navy shorts/tracksuit bottoms and trainers). For your child's safety, no jewellery should be worn and long hair should be tied back.
Home Learning Menus have been sent home with your children for this term. Children can choose to complete between 4 and 16 of these activities and return them throughout the term to earn some fantastic Class Dojo rewards.
Fruit can be bought for 20p from the school's fruit shop during break times.
If you have any concerns about your child's work/wellbeing at school, please do not hesitate to contact Mr Howells.
