Welcome back from the new Headteacher

A Welcome Back To School Bookworm 0521 1004 2016 0208 SMU

It is with great excitement and eagerness I write my first message to you to tell you that I am honoured to become the new Headteacher of Richmond Park Primary as of September 2014.

I have met many of your children who have been very welcoming and eager to share what they love about their school. They have not only helped me find my way around but have shown me many of the wonderful facilities and resources at Richmond Park whilst I have visited.

The staff and Governors have also been welcoming and have introduced me to the many activities and opportunities available to your children. I have visited lessons and looked at books and spoken at length about any concerns staff may have during this period of change.

This leaves you as parents and carers, that I have yet to meet. I shall make myself available during the beginning and end of school in the playgrounds during the first fortnight of the Autumn term and would encourage you to say hello - I will try my best to make links between parents and children as quickly as possible.

Richmond Park Primary has become a good school under the leadership of Mr. Mason-Evans and the recent good Estyn Inspection is testament to the hardwork of all involved. I wish to reassure you that I will continue to work hard with you to build upon this good foundation and ensure that Richmond Park Primary School goes from strength to strength.

Kind regards,

Miss Helen Davies
