On Friday 8th March we were visited by the Welsh folk group Ric-a-Do. The day began with a whole school assembly and Mansel and Roland performed some traditional songs and tunes. We also learned a whole school song called 'Rew di ranno' which we really enjoy singing. Throughout the day, each class had a workshop and learned their own traditional Welsh song. The day ended with a concert where everybody had the opportunity to perform their song to the whole school.
Well done to all the children who learned so much in a short space of time and who showed great enthusiasm to make it a really enjoyable day. A big thank you also to Mansel and Roland for all that went into making such a memorable event. Diolch!
