Watch out and behave!! Children at Richmond Park School have recently been learning how to become Crime Scene Detectives in a series of science based workshops.
Children were given a series of problems which required them to use their detective and forensic skills to trace the guilty parties. As you will see from the pictures below, children used magnifying glasses to search for clues and to look closer at various fibres, they used a black light and UV light to detect hidden messages/clues written in invisible ink, they took each others fingerprints to trace who had left their prints at the scene, they observed and compared various sole prints on shoes to identify who's muddy prints had been left at the scene, etc.
